Why we love it

It’s an organic black Assam tea with lovely warming spices and Turmeric – great for joints and circulation in the colder months. The warming Vietnamese Cassia in this tea comes from the Highland region of Yen Bai. The trees grow in a mixed forest and are harvested to maintain a diversity of age of tree throughout. After 5-7 years of growth the whole tree is harvested for it’s aromatic bark which is carefully removed from the trunk and main branches before being dried in the sun, The wood from the tree is not wasted as it is used for furniture making and sold in local markets.
